To find information on all the services we provide use the menu navigation on the left.
Making your booking
Please register your details on the homepage. Once you have registered please log in, then click on Place order from the homepage, select the opera and the date you are attending. Then follow the step by step process. You will need to enter the number of required portions against each menu item.
Ordering your wine
You can now order your wine using the interactive Wine list. Just click the category of wine you require then enter the number of bottles you would like to order. If you require other categories of wine or other drink please select from the list and again enter number of bottles required.
Payment
All online orders require valid credit card details, for full advance payment or to make a deposit of £10 per person. You will then be taken to a Sage Pay page to input your credit card details.
If you would like to pay on the night please select this option on the order confirmation page.
Security
This website uses industry standard security based on a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to protect your personal and credit card details. All payment details are collected in web space that is protected with a Verisign secure certificate.
Confirmation
You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been successfully submitted. Please check that all details are correct, and that the date corresponds to that of your opera tickets. We recommend that you bring your order confirmation with you at the time of your visit.
Internet bookings
Internet Bookings are closed 48 hours before the performance date. Please ensure that your booking is for the same night as the opera you are attending.
Picnics
Normal cancellation charges apply for all picnics. A charge will be levied for all picnic equipment and hampers not returned to the Plashett building at the end of the Long Interval, unless porter service has been arranged. Please notify us if you would like to return to your picnic after the performance.
Special dietary requirements and requests
(V) Indicates dishes suitable for vegetarians.
We are happy to cater for special dietary requirements; such requests
must be made no less than 48 hours in advance.
Our menus may not be suitable for children.
Food allergies
It is essential that we are informed if you or a member of your party have a food allergy. Please indicate this under specail instructions. Dishes on our menus may contain nuts or nut traces.
Function catering
The Glyndebourne Restaurants are available for functions outside of the Festival and Touring Opera seasons (November to March). For details please telephone +44 (0)1273 812321.
Data protection
Leith's Limited / Compass Group collect and process personal information for the purpose of charging your dining orders within the terms and conditions stated in this brochure. Your personal information will only be used in this connection and will not be used for any other purpose without your permission. We will not disclose your credit card details to any third party.
Cancellations
If you have to cancel your booking, please do so in writing up to 48 hours in advance of your reservation to avoid incurring a cancellation fee.
Please note that if you cancel or change your tickets with the Box Office this will not cancel any restaurant reservation you have made. Separate notification is required.
Cancellation charges
More than 48 hours notice - no charge
Less than 48 hours notice - 50% of total invoice
Less than 24 hours notice - 80% of total invoice
Reservation made for the incorrect night - 100% of invoice
No show on the night - 100% of invoice
Cancellation fees apply to all services provided by Leith's at the Glyndebourne Opera House.
(NB Please check when booking on this site that you have selected the correct evening.)
All cancellations must be made in writing by email or post. This cancellation policy is applicable to all services offered by Leith's at Glyndebourne.
Please note that a valid credit card number is required.
Dishes may be subject to variation without notice.
Additional information
Amendments to orders will require written notice by email or post at least 48 hours in advance.
For online payments we accept Visa, MasterCard, Maestro and Amex cards.
If you are making a reservation on behalf of someone else, please ensure that you fill in the host's name.
Gratuities are discretionary.
Dishes may vary without notice depending on the availability of ingredients.
Information on this website may be subject to change.
Vintage variations may occur. Should this affect your order, we reserve the right to replace your wine with the next most suitable vintage. All current vintages are displayed on this website.
A corkage charge will be levied on all own Champagne or wine brought for consumption in our restaurants. Champagne at £20 per bottle and wine at £15 per bottle.
Making your reservation confirms acceptance of the information provided on this site.
VAT, included in prices quoted, is calculated at the current rate (currently 20%).
If you wish to sign your bill, you must have an approved credit account with Leith's at Glyndebourne. Credit accounts are valid for 12 months only. Payment terms must be adhere to.
Every effort is made to accommodate any specific seating requests in the restaurant. Please notify us in advance if you or anyone in your party has restricted mobility so that a suitable table can be allocated.
