Coffee Point ~ Long Bar |
| Cappuccino, latté, espresso and filter coffee are available from the Long bar pre-performance and post-performance.
During short intervals, coffee is not available due to the time constraint. |
Mildmay Tearooms |
| A full range of waiter served afternoon teas is available from 3pm (2pm on Sundays).
We regret that table reservations are not possible for the tearooms; so do try to arrive as early as possible to avoid disappointment. Tearoom orders close 10 minutes before the first bell. Champagne, Pimms, wine and soft drinks are available from the bar in Mildmay. |
Lawn Bar |
| In fine weather, a selection of Boizel champagne is available, as well as the Glyndebourne house white and red wines and a selection of soft drinks. Smoked salmon sandwiches, strawberries and cream are available to enjoy with your champagne. |
Restaurant Reservations Desk |
| The restaurant desk is located near the foyer, opposite the Information Office. If tables are available for booking on the night, the restaurant notice board will display availability in each restaurant. Restaurant availability cannot be guaranteed for every performance. Wine orders can be placed here, however, we regret that changes to a pre-placed wine order cannot be made at the restaurant reservations desk. |

About Bars & Light Refreshments
Open at 3pm (2pm on Sundays). the long bar is situated in the foyer, which makes it an ideal meeting point. It serves a full range of champagnes, Pimms, wines, beer and spirits. Drinks, caviar, canapés and smoked salmon plates can be pre-ordered. There will also be a limited number of canapés and smoked salmon chequer board plates available for purchase each evening. A selection of sandwiches and cakes will also be available from the Long Bar during the intervals.
Pre-order Service
We encourage you to pre-order drinks for operas with a short interval. This will allow you to avoid the crowds, as this interval is for 20 minutes only. Short interval operas this year include L'incoronazione di Poppea, Eugene Onegin and Carmen. A short interval drink pre-order desk will be available pre-performance for all the above-mentioned operas. Please ask any member of our bar staff for further assistance. We regret that coffee is not available during short intervals owing to time constraints.
