How to Book
To make a booking for dining at Glyndebourne, please follow these steps:
- Select your preferred dining option (Festival Dining, Autumn and Christmas Dining, or Other Events)
- Choose your performance date and time
- Select your preferred dining venue and time slot
- Complete your booking details and payment
Frequently Asked Questions
Corkage Charge
Our corkage charge is £35.00 per bottle or £40.00 for a magnum or champagne. Please make us aware that you are bringing a bottle to the restaurant.
Deposit
A £20 deposit per guest is required to secure any reservation. For Long Bar, Picnics and Tearooms, we request full payment at time of reservation.
Dietary Requirements
We are happy to accommodate dietary requirements. Please inform us of any dietary restrictions or allergies when making your booking.
Furniture
We do not hire out furniture alone. Please contact Box Office to make a table reservation in one of our marquees or around the auditorium.
Modifications & Cancellations
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to modify or cancel your booking. Our team will assist you with the necessary changes.
Service Charge
A discretionary 10% service charge is added to all bookings. All service charges are shared equally with all staff. This can be removed in your booking page or by request.
Timings
Dining in our restaurants and picnic service takes place during the 90 minute long interval.
Nether Wallop
- Do I have to pre-order? - Yes, this year we require that you pre-order your main and dessert choices in advance. All guests will receive sharing starters.
Middle & Over Wallop
- When do you need my menu choices? - As soon as available and at least one week in advance of your performance date.
Mildmay
- Can I only have three courses in Mildmay? - Whilst you are not committed to ordering all three courses, the menu is priced and charged as a three course menu.
Picnics
- Where do I collect my picnic? - Please introduce yourself to the picnic collection point near the Garden marquee, so that a picnic porter can show you to your table. The picnic will be delivered ready for the Long Interval.
- What is included? - Our picnics are priced to include all furniture, tableware and glasses. Waiters will be available to assist throughout your experience.
